About me

I am a Perth based specialist Skin Cancer GP with interests in Aesthetic Medicine and Dermatology and Menopause Management. I am now available at my own, new Skin Cancer and Aesthetic Clinic, Skin Cancer Focus, in Osborne Park. This is a natural progression from serving the Perth community for over 15 years and I am excited about this new chapter and the opportunities it provides.

I graduated from medical school in 2001 and began practicing medicine in 2002 in England, specialising in General Practice in 2006 and becoming a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (England) in 2008 and  started training in Facial Aesthetic Procedures in the same year. I received my Certificate in Facial Aesthetics in 2010. I started my Skin Cancer training in Australia in 2011, going on to become a member of the Australian Skin Cancer College in 2012 and Australasian College of Aesthetic Medicine in 2017. I am now an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with the SCCA and have an Advanced Clinical Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery.

In 2010, my husband and I took our two young daughters on an adventure to Cyprus, where I worked as a civilian GP serving the families and enlisted men and women of the UK Army and Air Force.

In 2011, we decided upon beautiful Perth, WA as the perfect place to raise a family and launch a medical practice. I became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice and honestly have never looked back.

We live in the Perth Hills with our 2 teenage daughters, 4 dogs, 4 horses, 2 goats and chickens.

I enjoy updating my skills constantly to keep bringing my patients the latest services and techniques, and ensure I am abreast of new ideas via current research. A few of my qualifications include:

  • MRCGP (UK), FRACGP (Australia)

  • RCPCH (UK) Diploma in Child Health;

  • Member of the Australian College of Skin Cancer Medicine;

  • Member of the Australasian College of Aesthetic Medicine;

  • Examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practice.
